Main idea list. Please share your thoughts, comments, and any information. Especially interesting is if you know of an implementation of an idea, or something similar, past or current, successful or not!

The concept here is when receiving radio communications, they are recorded for the last bit, if not already, and a button is made available to repeat the last transmission received, or a part of it.

This pretty much is about digital situations, maybe not worth trying to implement in an analog situation.

The idea comes from an airplane crash where the last transmission from the control tower was not understood, and further contact was broken before clarification.

There are probably other situations this might be handy.

This could be expanded to just including all past communications, so that pilots or whoever can review previously sent information without having to request a transmission. This might also help where there is a hesitation to request repeating information. However rules probably should generally suggest requesting information again, in case there was an unexpected change that was not properly relayed or something.

A scroll-able list showing length or other characteristics would enable quickly referring back to the right one. Maybe placing random highly visually distinct icons next to transmissions will be a faster means of locating the desired transmission.
