(Lasagne of lasagna : in Italian apparently -e is correct, and in Dutch as well, so I use -e, people in the United States of America apparently spell it -a.)
Instead of everyone using the same standard calendar, the idea here is everyone makes their own calendar.
The month begins when you eat lasagne, and you count the days after that. You name that month by the type of the lasagne, a particular characteristic, who made it, where you ate it, or whatever.
Then each year you call by the name of a different ingredient often used in lasagne. Or something.
This is just a joke.
I like lasagne.
